Why is Hepatitis B not curable?

Is there any particular reason why Hepatitis B is not curable?
Chronic hepatitis B hasn't been cured so far in part because current therapies have failed to destroy the viral reservoir, where the virus hides in the cell. This is in contrast to the hepatitis C virus, which has no such viral reservoir and can now be cured with as little as 12 weeks of treatment.

Is hepatitis B spread only through unprotected sex?
Hbv is a hardy virus that can exist on almost any surface for up to one month. You can get infected through contact with an infected person's blood or body fluids.

Can kissing cause hepatitis B?
Hepatitis B isn't spread through saliva (spit), so you CAN'T get hepatitis B from sharing food or drinks or using the same fork or spoon. Hepatitis B is also not spread through kissing, hugging, holding hands, coughing, sneezing, or breastfeeding.
