There are many sites where you can actually check the safety of the site; this will help give an indication of the legitimacy too. Sites like Safe Site allow you to enter the URL of the site in question and it’ll give you an answer: is the site deemed safe or unsafe. If it’s unsafe, it’s almost certainly not a legitimate site or at the very least not safe and could be harbouring personal information. Hope this helps!!

It is best if you can find some certification from an authorized organization or from the local government. Or if there is a physical address or a telephone number which is working, most of the time the site is legit. But some might not have any of these and still might be legit too. Good, genuine reviews from trusted review sites are also important when checking off a site is legit or not.

It is ideal in the event that you can discover some affirmation from an approved association or from the nearby government. Or then again if there is a physical location or a phone number which is working, more often than not the site is genuine. Be that as it may, some probably won't have any of these and still may be genuine as well. Great, veritable surveys from believed audit locales are likewise significant when scratching off a site is genuine or not.

There is some website to identify safe and legitimate online pharmacies:
  • Go to the website of the pharmacy regulatory authority for the province or territory
  • The Pharmacy Verified Websites Program. This is a verification program administered by NAPRA’s counterpart in the United States, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®), help you identify and avoid fake online pharmacies
  • The FDA’s BeSafeRx
  • visit the CIPA website to find a certified online pharmacy

I’m curious as to what others feel is the best most thorough way to determine the legality and safety of an online pharmacy? I’m aware there are sites that offer personal experiences and reviews but are there any other ways to get a more ‘official’ opinion? Thanks.
What if a patient prescribed a drug for itself and the drug didn't work, so the pharmacy is fake right?

The best way to check the legitimacy is to first order from the suspected online pharmacy and then have the first-hand experience. If they send you fake or no drugs at all, then they are a scam and if they do send the promised products, then they are legit. I wonder what makes people come up with such stupid questions.

If you have tried as much as possible to look out for reviews on any online pharmacy that you want to use, it's one of the safest ways to know if you can trust the online pharmacy or not.
