Lady died from ordering drugs online

What we should always try to do is to be careful about how we buy drugs from online pharmacies. After news of a lady that died in 2017 after taking an overdose of codeine, the medical authorities are looking at taking drastic measures. Debbie Headspeath bought codeine from a British online pharmacy.

This is the bad side of buying online drugs, we have no guarantee of the medications we get. And also anyone can easily get anything and as we all know some medications can be used as drugs that is harmful. The conclusion is these online pharmacy stores make our lives easier but, they might harm you if you are not careful enough. So stay safe, be smart.

Buying medications online is dangerous as we put health at risk unless we are totally sure everything is fine and the chosen pharmacy has all the signs of being genuine. I can't really say whose fault it was - of the woman as she wasn't careful enough or of the pharmacy where Debbie bought her medicine.

It's such a shame that this keeps repeating itself even with all the awareness being created on the subject. Some unlucky ones still get caught in the horror of having to die from an overdose. Although sometimes the issue of a drug overdose is personally inclined than the fault of online pharmacies.

It’s heartbreaking to hear these tragic cases. Of course, any case like this is a tragedy, but when placed in the bigger picture, these were over two years ago and billions of orders are placed each day, so in the grand scheme of things this is one in over a couple of billion orders that have gone wrong. You have more chance of getting in a car crash the next time you leave your house.

However, it could be that these cases are becoming more and more common to a point that they are being less frequently reported. I suppose there isn’t always a definitive answer and perhaps never will be.

This is really tragic. It is sad to realize that her doctor had stopped prescribing her this medicine. But, she when online and bought it anyway, and it cost her, her life.

Some irresponsible online pharmacies are set up to feed your addictions, and to get away with your money. You should always be careful when you are dealing with online pharmacies that don't ask for a prescription from your doctor.

The authorities should intensify their efforts to ensure something like this doesn't happen again.

They should come up with rules and regulations that will help reduce the activities of illegal online pharmacies that exploit people's addictions.

They should put in measures that will ensure that drugs that are coming through the mail are coming from a legal pharmacy.

This is so sad, but note that it was an overdose that killed her, else, she would still have been alive. So the question is, was the woman given a prescription she overlooked or ignored, or did she deliberately took excess dosage to commit suicide or did she consume excess quantity out of ignorance or self-medication?
