Not only does sugar have no nutrients of its own, but valuable nutrients derived from other foods are also spent on its absorption. For example, the use of sugar leads to depletion of chromium, which is responsible for the metabolic processes in the body, regulates blood glucose, inhibits the development of atherosclerosis and has other beneficial properties.

I can't live without sweet things. When I'm depressed or just bored I need some sugar in my blood to feel better 😇
It is noticed that sweet food calms and relaxes us. But eating sweet food only temporarily relieves the psychoemotional load, not solving the main problems. Often there is a vicious circle: a stressful situation - an increase in the diet of sugary foods - obesity - new stress o_O
