How can one solve their sleep disorder?

Try to establish a routine and stick to it religiously. It’ll help establish neural pathways that your body will just become reliant and accustomed to, helping your body and brain know that when in bed, this means ‘sleep time’.

As mentioned above, making your bed a comfortable environment will help immensely. Maybe have a scented candle, plush pillows, dimmed lighting, with blackout blinds to prevent disturbed sleep in the morning, perhaps wear an eye mask. Other ideas are to keep your room cool, as overheating is another reason that often can lead to insomnia.

Here are some insomnia beating tips:
  • Wake up every day at the same time
  • Eliminate nicotine and caffeine
  • Limit the number of naps
  • Exercise regularly
  • Limit bedtime operations
  • Before you go to bed, do not eat or drink
  • Make a cozy atmosphere for your sleep
I like your tips listed here except for no.6. I think it would better if you said: "Before you go to bed, do not eat or drink heavily or heavy foods".

I will also add that taking a magnesium supplement before bedtime may also help. I like to take Natural Calm. You can mix it with water or other liquids, but I have also put it in yogurt. I have the Cherry kind. It is very tart but does help me sleep.

My friend, sorry for your sleeping disorder issue, but are you aware that

Multiple studies have demonstrated acupuncture to be an effective treatment for insomnia. Acupuncture lessens anxiety, stimulates melatonin production, induces sleep onset, and reduce sleep disruption and arousal during the night. All of these effects amount to an overall increase in total sleep time. So, you may want to try that out if it would help your sleep system.

A sexual session and then smoking a couple of cigarettes does the job for me, nothing else does.

I rather eat and not sleep, than sleep without food. Number 6 is just funny.

To me, the most important tip here is to exercise well and regularly. This goes a long way in helping fix your sleeping disorder.
